I have a pc with a few accounts set up on it for the family( only me and the missus have admin rights)anyway my daughter was complainig that she can't move back and forth thru folders anymore( she says she didn't do anything)I had a look at her folderwindows and sure enough the folders open up but no toolbar shows up. I've tried the control panel for settings and the help file but I can't find out how to restore the toolbar to all her folders. All the other accounts are fine. Any help would be much appreciated

At the top, go to View, Toolbars, and click on Standard Buttons. I hope this is what you are talking about.

I can't do that either as the bar with file, edit ,view etc and the back , forward, save icons are all missing. all that is there is the blue bar with min, max and close in the right hand corner. I googled it and most of the answers were the same as what you've said. Thanks anyway, I'll keep trying to find an answer

Problem sorted, I pulled this from tech support guys site "Go to the link below and under the letter "T" scroll down to "Toolbar - Missing" and try the "Toolbar Repair Utility" which may correct your problem."
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm This worked a treat and if you scroll down a little further it tells you how to edit the registry value before you run the program
