OK so... I got this thing for my PS2 called Magic Slide. It of course lets you play burned and imported PS1/PS2 games by using the CD's it comes with and this little card thingy you insert inside the PS2. Well the problem is, I'm trying to play my burned PS1 games but no matter what they won't play!

I use CloneCD and Ashampoo Burning Studio 8 to burn my games, and I do it at the slowest rate possible (for CloneCD it's 1x and for Ashampoo it's 4x). I don't do it at the max speed cause I've read in many places burning it at the max speed will cause the game not to be read correctly.

Anyways, I get BIN/CUE and CCD/IMG/SUB files for these games and I'm pretty sure I burn them correctly, but whenever I put it in the PS2 with the Magic Slide trick, it won't read. I don't understand what the problem could be.

Oh and if any of this helps:
I use Maxell CD-R's and my PS2 is a bit... different. It doesn't have the black PS2 covering over it, I had to remove it for "reasons," and since it doesn't have the covering, I don't have to use the little card thingy that the Magic Slide brings. All I do is put in the Magic Slide CD, let it load, open up the cover from the PS2 and put in my game.

I need as much suggestions as possible. Please and thank you to anyone who replies!

But it doesn't allow you to play ps1 games.. for that you need a nice old real ps1 boot disk like action replay.

Actually it does let me play PS1 games. It brings 2 Magic Slide discs, one that's a DVD and another that's a CD-R.
