I tried out Eurovox TX in Athlone but it didn't work.

They get C***** from a cable, not from an aerial, so I'd presume "The Box Super" would work there.

Does anyone know for sure if The Box Super will work in Athlone?

yes if its ch@rus digital you get the box super will work.
