i have heard of people losing channels on boxes with the very abnormal weather we are getting at the moment, one box would only scan 2/3rds of normal channels available, possible tps down on line, and possibly back to full scan when fixed.or tuner damage and what i wanted to clarify is the lightning re powersurge or thunder, and protestion can you use against thunder.
