I am using a internal dvd+R/RW burner i think it is named Opti -something by Sony I believe. I use dvdshrink and nero to burn dvd's. I was working and then all of a sudden when it is time to burn and it says put in blank disc. When I put the disc in it just keeps searching and then it says no media recognized. What it that? Please help.

What operating system are you using?
I had a similar problem when I had vista small business(the same applies to vista basic) after I downloaded sp1 it wouldn`t recognize my dvd and my audio was affected as well. I had to search and find the new codec for it. Sorry I can`t remember what codec it was as it was a couple of months ago and I`ve since went back to XP Pro.

That could be the issue, try some Verbatims before you draw any conclusions.

I have used the verebatiums also. No go. Maybe I am using XP. Maybe I should search for codec's to download. I will keep looking.
