I recently put a new master hard drive into my Dell dimension 5150 (old one died) and installed windows xp with a few problems arising along the way (it asked for a xp pro sp2 disk and I didn't realize at the time that that was install disk 1) so I pressed cancel and the install completed, the pc restarted and BOOM. The pc starts then it freezes at the first screen (the one where you get the f2=SETUP AND F12- BOOT MENU. I tried to enter both the boot menu and the Setup but with no luck. I just spend 100 bucks on a new HD!! Someone please help me!

Have you tried unplugging the hard drive to see if the bios is accessible.
