    Pretty basic question here;
    I've been using an HP laptop for the past couple years and it came with some excellent CD/DVD burning software already built in when I got it; the laptop finally died and I just got a new Windows XP desktop computer, but it has no burning software on it. What's the best FREE CD/DVD burning software for a PC? I'd like to be able to burn documents and folders as well as music CDs and be able to put the mp3s in order and create a setlist etc, which my current (and awful) burning software does not allow me to do, but which my old laptop's software DID allow me to do.
    So, any suggestions?

    Agreed. Imgburn is the best burner IMHO free or paid out there.

    Imgburn is the very best burning software (free or not) in the universe when it comes to DVD burning. I don't know about CD burning though!
