Hey guys, recently I've been prompted to install SP3. But thing is, my OS disk didn't seem to work in the past and I got around the problem by installing WPAKILL which overridden the trial period when I installed the OS.

If I update SP3, would the WPAKILL trick no longer work?

I you're on about a legit copy then I do have one, just that when I reformatted my pc, it doesnt seem to be validatable. Even when I punch in the cd key on the wallet.

I dunno if there's something more technical because i don't know much about computing or anything. Another forum suggested that Microsoft invalidates all OS disks after the initial installation and phoning them up will sort the issue out. Which I find annoying and frustrating.
