Im sorry if Im in the wrong place but I looked over and over again at the list.

Im looking for new PC speakers because my old ones are deteriating. I have no idea about the speakers on the market and I dont know what to look for in a speaker or if I need a sound card to get the full value.

I want a 2.1 system. All I use it for is listening to music and playing games. I am not a huge Audiophile so quality doesnt have to be great, but I do want a nice performance to price ratio.

    Thanks

How do these speakers rate because i was expecting to pay more. The only reason I was expecting to pay more was because that is what I thought good speakers cost.

Depends what you define as good. I have Logitech Z-2300s which are superb, and far better than the X-240s, but it depends on your budget.

I think ill go with your Z-2300s because it is the price I was thinking I would pay and seem like they are of great quality.

    thanks

They are, they go incredibly loud without any sacrifices in sound quality.

I love my old Klipsch Pro-Media 2:1 system. If I crank up the sound, my wife yells at me, from upstairs, saying I am acting like a teenager. She doesn't like the bass shaking the house.

    Life is good. :)

Haha, I'm sure I'd get that too while I'm at home, at Uni I just don't have the will to do it because we actually get on well with our neighbours...

I appreciate the suggestion but Those speakers are a little pricey for my taste.
