Hi can anyone help, please. I recently bought the above box on line and installed software fom http://cablebox.4shared.com. Seems to be doing ok until scan is finished and no channels are found. it comes up with a info box with NO TRANSPONDER TO SCAN. My cable is from a arial on the roof does this pose a problem. I am Living in the Galway area if this helps.
is it ntl mmds I dont THINK there is chorus mmds in Galway..although I may be wrong<Happens Often Lol. Do a powerscan via the range 250.00 to 402.00 and symbol rate 6887.
Hi HITECH, I did the scan as you said unfortunatly it seems as though it scans ok, but it always has TP 000 on screen as its scanning. Should this be moving as its scanning..? I'm still wondering about the arial and if this box is compatible.. Thanks for all your help thus far, here's hoping for more.
Me too, Doesnt sound good, I'm not clued up on the mmds ect, you may need to buy a eurovox TX? I'm sure someone will be in shortly to help you out.
galway is n@l mmds see can you try and manually scan these frequencies 291,299,307,315,323,347,355,363,371,387,387.500,418.700,458.
I have been told i may have the wrong firmware in the box as it came from england via internet and empty with only a url to download the stuff. my version is v_1.1 . Is this correct and what about loaders and flash etc..?
should be 1.1a, You dont need any othere software as it is a UFL, (loader is built it) Follow the link under my picture right at the bottom for the eurovox flashing guide. best of luck!
