Hey guys i am so frustrated right now. I have a Sony NW-E107 1gb mp3 player and sometimes when i transfer a song over and try to play it i get a "cannot play" error. Now im not sure how many people have this player or know what im talking about but any idea on how to get my mp3's working would be great. :) I am thinking i should just get a new player but i have had this baby for 2-3 years and its still in working condition so i don't want to let it go...just yet :p

The most likely reason for that is because it can't play that mp3. Does it play on your computer? Maybe it is DRMed maybe the format is slightly different than it can play. Try converting the mp3 to a constant lower bit rate. And see what happens. Chances are if you can convert it it will play. If you can't that was your problem.
