I recently had some malware troubles (Antivirus 2008 XP, and some Trojans.) I'm pretty sure that I got everything cleaned out using a combo of Windows Malware Removal, Bitdefender and Malwarebytes. The trouble now is that my C drive and DVD drive don't show up when I go to My Computer. They are both in the Device Manager and if I type in C: in Windows Explorer, it will be there, but the drive icons aren't there in My Computer. Also the Programs menu on my Start Menu has disappeared. Any ideas? Running Windows XP Pro SP2 Plextor DVD+RW Maxtor HDD
Download the UItweak from here http://download.microsoft.com/downl...a6-b352-839afb2a2679/TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe then after its installed go down to repair and select rebuild icons
