i dont know much about e sata ports. i bought an hp dv5 1017nr labtop and it has a e sata port that doubles as a usb 2.0 port. if i plug in my WD passport into this port and transfer files, will i get the e sata port speed or am i limited by the usb cable? i transfer files on and off but i havent really noticed anything significant. just wondering if anyone has a definate yes or no
