when i startup vista on my computer vista pops up with a message and takes around 5 minutes to boot up

Warning: unrecognized partition table for drive 80 please rebuild it using a microsoft compatible fdisk tool

it says that about 4 times then goes into the vista loading bar there is other text but i cant remember any other of it but that stuff most of that just says stuff like succsess on those

if any one knows how to fix that please let me know i hate waiting for windows to start up

I would do a scandisk on all your partitions, make sure you check the box to fix errors. If there is any corruption on any of your partitions your computer will be very slow to bootup.

I would say Format and install Windows XP and lose the Vista. It's a piece of crap.
