I recently bought the new EurovoxPVR.The hard drive is installed and I can record, but when I press the PVR button on the remote I get a message on screen saying "Hard drive full or not installed".Thus I cannot pause or rewind. Is there anything I should do.

Have you actually recorded anything yet? press record and let to run for about a min then try the PVR button again.

I recorded 10 mins of the United match by just hitting the record button. It recorded and played back perfectly.it seems that while Ithere is something recorded can access the PVR menu, but as soon as I delete it i then get the hard drive full message again.

Yep thats what can usually happen but it is fine and you should be able to record without a problem. What firmware version are you using?

I honestly don't know but I got it here on After Dawn.I E Mailed the company I bought the box from and they said that the hard drive should be installed before powering up the box and that would solve the problem.I disconnected the power and removed the hard drive ,re-installed it and powered up again but no joy.

You have the correct firmware installed and now your PVR button issue is sorted your good to go,

My EX5000 is exaclty the same, If you have nothing recorded then the PVR button comes up with the same message. This Button is a menu to what you have recorded, if you havnt recorded anything it donsn't work, what are you wanting the PVR button to do? it is as I said a menu of what you have recorded. I have also tried this on 4 other boxes and they all do the same.

Maybe a newer firmware in the future may change the message to "you have no saved recordings ect" but it isn't a fault.

    All the best :)

If that is the case and it's not a fault why am I not able to pause or rewind live television as is advertised.

Ah Missed that bit apologies, didnt see until now your message regarding the pause fault.

You should be able to pause but not rewind, you can rewind what you recorded but not rewind live TV!.

as Scouser said what firmware do you have installed?

Press menu config system info and type back what it says in there.
