    Hi Guys,

    I have two pc's and one laptop and I would like to network it in such as way that i can use the same username name and passwords on all three with all my files. Just like in school different PC but same Username and Password and same files..

    you need to setup a roaming profile. what version of windows are you using and are you using a wireless or wired connection?

    I am using two computers wired to the router and one laptop with a wireless connection

    ok. beware on the laptop that if your profile ends up being big it might take a while to load over the wireless connection. anyway what versions of windows are you using. eg. win xp home or pro?

    I have windows xp pro installed on the laptop and on one PC and on the other one I have windows XP Media Center Edition Installed.

    I am having trouble setting it up, I have done everything up to stage 11 because when I try loading the hive it says that the path migt not be accessible
    Any comments

    what do you click when it says that? is it when you find the file and click open or when you are trying to find the file?

    ok...all i can think of is that your firewall might be blocking it or that you didn't set up the permissions correctly
