Is there some way to create a CD with multiple tracks that will not proceed to the next track until manually advanced?

    Any help would be appreciated.

i may be wroung but i think the specifications for CDs drawn up back in the 70s dont allow for this.

CDs are a very analog format (event tho they are digital), and are simple bitstreams that the player plays back, the album is split into tracks by markers in the tableOfContents at the start of the disc.

what you are suggesting would have have to have been written into the specs for players, so you could try making your own cd playing software or building your own cd player....
