i recently got a new at&t 2701hg-b wired/wireless router, and am having a problem getting my wireless laptop and my wired pc to share folders and the printer which is connected to the desktop pc. i have tried the network setup wizard a few times with no luck. am very frustrated and at&t is no help. both computers connect to the internet without any problems but i really want to use the printer from the laptop and to acces files from the pc. any help is GREATLY appreciated

    Hi Tattoozit!

how are you trying to access the shared folders and printer?

assuming your PC's IP address is 192.168.1.1 and your Laptop is 192.168.1.2, are they able to PING each other?

you *should* be able to type the IP address of the PC into the address bar of Windows Explorer (\\192.168.1.1 for example) on the laptop and see all the shared items on the PC.
