well there is no soft modding a ds but you can play games off of a memory card

and theres no getting around having to buy something but its very simple and really easy

so the games are caled roms and there put onto a memory card wich is then put into into a flash card and and played on the ds

the amount of games that can be played depends on the size of the memory card you buy

so here is some information about one flash card inparticular wich i posted awhile back the post is still relevant today as no new flash cards have come out that are any good

homebrew are just programs or games made by people and they dont need to be pathced with the card you just put it on there like the games and run it

Copied from the closed post re: Datel Games 'n Music

Well, if the site (the one that said that the Datel GNM could play ROMs) said that it could, why don't you ask someone there?

I gave you my answer. I researched this for someone else several months ago and the consensus is that only a limited number or early Games 'n Music could play ROMs, a hole that was quickly plugged by Datel.

IMHO, go buy a real flashcart. You are wasting your time trying to get the GNM to do something that it wasn't designed to do.

who said anything about datel games n music? dailun

    as for the games
are they on the root of the memory stick
not in a folder just in there?

you may want to look around this site to find about about computer based patchers for homebrew sometimes its the only way to get some homebrew to work just look around i don tuse homebrew much so i dont know much about patchers the few homebrew i have used worked without any further oatching so check out this site

The M3 DS package by DealExtreme has a great price. But I have a question. Has anyone from Canada ordered from DealExtreme? I ask this because the Canadian border guys inspect what you import (DealExtreme's inventory is in Hong Kong) and I'm worried that it might be illegal to import a M3 DS flash cart because of the new copyright laws.

if you want to chane it go ahead but what youll need to do is buy the drop shipping label item to go alon with the order so they get rid of the label and check or find out how you have it mailed as a gift and the will label it as a video game accesory

so unless they open it and try to check it you might have a chance
