    Hi All

My friend has a VM box inside the house. Is there any way of checking if the cable is connected to the VM network

    Thanks
    Peter

    Hi
Yes plug it in to the box, switch on and see what you get.

Plug the coax directly into the back of the TV and see if you can get any channels.

I don't understand this. Surely whoever lives there knows whether they are paying a bill to a cable provider or not?

Tell him to do what Sc0user already said, Plug the coaxial cable into the back of the TV & if he gets the regular channels then there is a live feed.
