hi - i was hoping there would be FAR more info on gamecube cosmetic modz. What happened to the scene? Most links i find are dead, Or contain only small amounts of education. Im sure someone could help me here...even to explain where to find a 12v or 5v source within the gamecube! Please, You should know what im talking about. Anything at all...
The red wire is 12v. There is no 5v available from what I've read. I'm wanting to hook up my girls black 'cube if she'll let me. I want to do the controller ports, drill the dots above them too, Clear out the jewel and add a cold cathode ring like an xbox, change the orange power led and light up the grills. Maybe while I'm in there I'll add a duoq or a xeno. I'm feeling you about the dead scene for gc mods. The dc scene is dead too and clear cases for those are way overpriced.
