cd-rom drive shows read-only and cannot backup files

    My cd-rom drive will no longer let me backup or copy files. Gives the message of read-only drive.
    Can someone please help?

    Check the drive properties for the 'Recording' tab.
    Try unchecking/checking the 'Enable CD recording...' box.

    Thanks for the response. I unstalled my CD Creator and reinstalled it and everything is working normal again. Thanks again.
