starview 2 the box no power

hi guys

when i plug the box in it has no power.

i changed plug and tried different socket but its still dead.

is it fried or what/

Have you checked the capacitors on the PSU board?

If the box is under a year old you can send it back under warranty. If over a year old open it and look at the caps on the PSU board, (where power cable enters the box), if any cap is blown/bulging that may be your problem.

If you are unfamiliar working on the internal of the box. I would recommend bringing it to your local TV repair shop and they will fix it for you.

Did you load the wrong firmware to it by any chance or did it just die?

it was working fine and then it just died.

I'll open it up and see if i can see anything obvious.
