I have the Pioneer DVR-113NP, and I believe firmware version is 1.00. I try to burn an ISO file onto a dual layer Verbatim disc that records up to 8x. Not sure if it makes any difference, but the disc is made in Singapore. I set my burner to burn at 1x and the slowest it would burn is 4x. I've tried to do it at 2.4x with a Memorex DL disc and it still would burn at 4x. I'm also using ImgBurn. Should I be using a different program? Are there any settings I have to change? Do I need to update my firmware? I found this firmware, though it lists the DVR-113KG, is it the same? http://wwwbsc.pioneer.co.jp/product-e/ibs/device_e/dev00001r_e.html Any additional information that is needed please let me know, or any suggestions/comments would be much appreciated. Thanks.
I guess I'm only able to burn as low as 4x. I've used several different program to burn the ISO including Alcohol 120, MagicISO, Ultra ISO, Clone DVD, DVD Decyrpter, Nero, ImgBurn, and maybe another one or two. I tried using Memorex DL's and still no good. I tried burning at 6x, still no good. It seems as though that it fails at the very end for the majority of the time.
