So I have a PS3 40gb, 500gb external hard drive, and a blu-ray reader only with no burner.

    1. What I would like to do is to rip the Blu-ray dvd's to my Hard Drive.

    2. Then somehow play the ripped blu-rays from the hard drive on my PS3.

Can anyone explain in very easy wording without skipping any steps how this can be made possible? I know my Hard drive might have to be converted to FAT

    Thanks guys!

i am no expert on this and am just learning myself but..

    1. Buy Anydvd HD and run it, pop in the blu-ray
    2. Download TSMuxer and add the main .m2ts file from the blu-ray
    3. Get the video and audio streams you want
    4. Split and cut into 4gb parts
    5. Select m2ts muxing
    6. Select file destination (right onto a fat32 format hdd if you want)
    7. Start

This should work the only downer is the 4gb parts so you have to stop every 20mins and go to the next part. If anybody else has a better way let us know.
