    Hii All!

I am in the process of reorganizing my music files, ie making all the tracks numbered and named correctly. In particular i was updating an album using "find album info" and i managed to get all the track names nembers release dates etc but i noticed this has only been effected on the wmp and the original folder with the mp3s still have the old incorrect data, so when i delete that album from wmp and re put it onto wmp it shows the incorrect info, i assume this is because the original mp3 files were not changed through find album info, so my question is.... Is there any way to alter the song names, numbers etc without clicking on every individual song and pasting the name etc as you can imagine this will take hours. surely there is a way for the base file to be changed in the same way as you do when you update album details on the wmp menu. Any help would be much appreciated ps I have Vista.
    Regards

Go to Tools in WMP 11 (if you can't see hit the alt key)
    Options
    Select the Library tab
Then select overright all media information

With any luck that should do it.

Another thing you can try is to click on the arrow under library and select apply media information changes

    Well I hope that helps.
