I am still learning about converting files to H.264 and i keep having trouble with the sides (right/left) of the screen being cut off. i'm using mediacoder for conversion so any tips on proper resolution, video bitrate, etc. would help. I am loading videos onto my ipod with itunes.
    thanks

ok there are some software that works better than others, best resolytion to play back on tv is 640x360 most convertion software will do this automatically for you, if you are on pc Videora works great, if you are on mac try handbreak, also works great, Good Luck. ahh forgot to mention the best resolution if you just gonna view the content on your ipod is 320X180, if you have one of the new ipods like classic or nano or even a touch, under video setting, choose video screen standard, turn off fit to screen, all these if you gonna watch on tv. Good luck
