DirectShow Missing On FFDSHOW Video Decoder Config

    Apologies in advance, I`m not sure where to post this, I have also tagged it onto the end of the config threads but not sure whether it will get seen

    I`ve just downloaded the latest FFDSHOW.
    Following the guide on Afterdawn is giving me a possible problem..

    On the Video Decoder Configuration the guide shows DirectShow in the left hand column, Mine doesn`t show this so am I missing something somewhere, I don`t want to proceed untill I have an answer to this..

    Confirm that you are selecting The 'Video Decoder Configuration' and not the 'VFW Configuration' from the Start Menu.

    Yep def using the video decoder config..

    As tis wasn`t appearing I decided to experiment and uninstalled FFDShow and then installed K-lite and the FFDShow which which is included in that install has the Direct Show item..Very strange..
