bought assassins creed for my acer laptop its windows vista and it would,nt work brought it back to the shop and he said that the computer wasnt able to take the program r something like that because the laptop wasnt powerful enough 4 the graphics etc. etc. if there is no way to make my laptop more powerful what games can i use cheers
you can't make them any more powerful. only thing you can do is buy a proper gaming laptop, like a dell xps M1730 or alienware.
you can run this system requirements lab to see what games your laptop can handle http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest
Indeed, you don't need something as good as an M1730 to play games, but you will need a decent games laptop. However, if you're assuming it isn't powerful enough just because the CD didn't autoplay then I think you need to have a bit of a read-up on PC technology..
Which acer laptop do you have??? My acer runs assassin's creed pretty much maxed out, but I've to benchmark it. What model is yours and what graphics card does it have???
dont know what and where to find a grahics card on the thing it says something like this if u understand up to 353MB mobile intel grahic media accelerator x3100
well shit never thought it would make a difference it was a toss up between this and the xbox and i went with the laptop never new always thought it would play games tells u what i know cheers 4 the help anyway
Generally speaking, desktop PCs are more expensive than consoles to get to play games properly, but they do the job better. Laptops on the other hand are much more expensive than consoles to play games on.
That means you have an integrated intel graphics card with a max. of 355MB memory. Integrated graphics cards are not good, and have trouble running with most games. You should have opted for an nVidia card which is an option in the 5920, as it would provide better gaming performance. Also, I don't think they can be upgraded, as they are most likely soldered to the motherboard Sorry - I was a little late
