no audio from headphones

    this should be a simple fix, but I cant remember how to do it. (This happen before and I search the internet and I fix. Now I cant find the website that I found the repair.) I'm plugging in my laptop to my tv and I have no sound coming from my headphone jacks. If I shut the computer off and turn it on in a few days it resets and it starts working again. How can I fix it right then and there when it first happens
