It powers up fine. The green glob screen is followed by the xbox logo and microsoft screen. Then evox slowly starts @ 1 frame every 2-3 seconds. I bought it this way what do I do? Please any thoughts?

No it's the hard drive because I can load a game from the dvd drive and it plays just fine. I only have this problem when it goes to the dashboard. Also if I connect to my box through flashfxp evox will run just fine.

I knew i should've written my previous reply more clearly. I was referring to Varnull's question ie she was asking if you had a Philips DVD drive :)
