It should work wherever there is wireless B access. Home, Krystals, Hotels, airport, etc. You just can't just directly wire to a phone line or modem.

you need a wireless router and then you need to share your internet conection and plug it into the router then you should automatically be able to connect.

At my school library, I detected a wireless signal and the PSP says there's no encryption (intended for students anyway). I thought if I set everything to Automatic it'd work but it didn't....I have firmware 2.0 btw. Any help?

I wish the PSP had a built in web browerser or something, oh wait....
Steps to bricking a PSP:
1. Get a brick
2. Hit the psp with it untill it won't run any longer
Congratulations, your psp is now bricked.

Ron: internet browser control stops you or other people from accessing the net on your psp (ave u got it passworded)? also switch the WLAN power save to off see if that helps.

I also found a wireless signal in my school library, but it uses WEP. The laptops in the library are connected to it, but I cant view the WEP (It displays as those security dots). Any ideas on how I can view the WEP using the school laptops, so I can connect my PSP?

I wouldnt call this stealing, just borrowing. Remember, using the laptop with the schools connection is not that much different from using a PSP. Actually you won't use as much bandwidth.

I found, with my router (Linksys WRT54G), I had to set the broadcast mode to B Only rather than B & G to get it to work. works like a charm now.

In windows go to
Start - run - type in cmd and press enter
command prompt pops up in a black screen type in
ipconfig.
Now where it says default gateway write that number down that is your routers ip , you can close command prompt
Go to internet explorer now in the address bar type in
that number you just got, it should take you to your router.
If there is a password it usually is username:admin, password:admin (default unless u changed it) Now your in your router go to settings or config, find a setting called wireless security and find out your password or settings eg which type of security your using WEP/WPA or none.
Sometimes to keep things peaceful you need a Piece thats Full
