Thx guys it started working using joysen. Do any of you know if i can replace a retro psp's analog with a psp slim's analog stick?

awesome tut. bro,. by the way when the psp is open, is there a way to disable the firmware function. i was told that you can. but it hard to believe when a battery is much easier. i asked him how he did it and is reluctant to say. i think he is lying but i am posting this out to see if there was another besides hardmodding the battery or the softmod.

i got a purpe japanese psp and u all know the rest
i cant play us umd so my brother also has a psp he has a white star wars psp and we wanted to trade psps but he doesnt want a purple one and i dont want a star wars one so we want to trade face plates and.....the back part lol neways they are both the same xcept the whole jap and us thing how do u take the back off and can u take all the buttons off

which battery is the right one to hardmod. i have a fat psp. can someone send me the link of a good battery that i can hardmod and the model number of it. thanks.

this is great but 2 of my Screws are glued in how do I get them out. I need to replace the analog stick and those are the last 2 I need to take out

All of the top screws on mine are completely stuck! I cant budge any of them. Any ideas of what can do without wasting the screwheads or smashing the psp?

Try a different screw driver. The screw driver should fit snug and be able to take the screw out without to much effort. If the screw driver slips out easy than its to big or too small.

Yeah I bought myself a #000 screwdriver, which turned them like a charm :D
