what are the steps in using, just downloaded

DVD shrink
DVD Decrypt
and then use rip it for me?

Did not burn at all! decrypter asks for source file, i click on Video_ts. Nothing!

WHAT IS RELIABLE, i will buy after trying it out. As you can see, i've tried EVERYTHING available on after dawn.

Are you trying to burn a VTS file with Decrypter because Decrypter only burns iso files.

Set Shrink to create the ISO file and burn it with decrypter like arniebear said.

i've had dvd shrink/decrypt for about 2 years, used it constantly.

i had to do a system restore on my computer. After reinstallling these programs - they are not working.

I did Read the manual (lengthy and confusing for me because i am an idiot at this stuff)

One week ago i was able to ........

1.TAke my original dvd put in drive
2.Open dvd shrinker (settings don't remember)
3.after shrinker shrunk everything, The shrunken movie automatically went to in the DVD Decrypter mode.
4.The decrypter after about an hour told me to put in a target (blank dvd)
5.I did
and Voila..decrypted and burned.......All done nice and simple

I have downloaded trial version of clonddvd2 and AnyDVD. IF the programs would work, I would buy. I have an email in to the company.



I JUST WANT NICE EASY AND SIMPLE: i don't know why DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter doesn't work AFTER i did a system restore.

I downloaded nice fresh versions.

You need to make sure you do not have enable burning with Nero checked in your preferences if you do not plan to burn with that program. Also when you get to your backup screen make sure you have iso burn with Decrypter.

Remember Shrink will not do any of the newer protected movies. For that you either need AnyDVD running in the background behind Shrink or use DVDFab Decrypter to rip to your HDD, or a program like RipIt4Me.

that's the whole thing the backup screen does not show "burn with decrypter"

i'm trying dvdshrink with AnyDVD open in the background. i don't see anything really happening yet with AnyDVD.

kaxmir, AnyDVD works in the background , put the dvd in wait till the fox head in your traybar turns back to red(about 1 min.) then transcode with CloneDVD 2 or DVD Shrink, if you would just follow the guides step by step you could do it

no luck with this dvd fab, just keeps doing the same stuff over and over. i will try your suggestion.

its alot easier to use CloneDVD 2 with AnyDVD thats all you need, and it updates for the newer movies all the time

Everything worked out fine, printed the manual followed all directions to the exact!

However, Once I got to #44....my movie encoded twice with NO results. "incomplete"

I will try AnyDVD and clonedvd2 - WHERE IS THE MANUAL for these that are as simple and straightforward as the manual for DVD Shrink and decrypter?

I have read sooooooooooooooooooo many manuals for 3 days now, my head is going to pop!

AnyDVD rips/decrypts...Clone encodes and burns.

I have the TRIAL versiion of AnyDVD and CloneDVD2. SO, the instruction manual won't work, the instruction manual shows a different program face for AnyDVD (page 3 of 20). manual shows tabs of DVD CD Drive Program External CSS Keys About.

I have NO problem in purchasing, but i want something that works and my old favorites DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter do NOT work.

Either AnyDVD or CloneDVD2.

Any advice?????

The manual works and gives you the idea of how the program works. This manual was written for the old interface of Clone/AnyDVD the look may be different,but the programs are the same. It does not matter if you are using a trial, it is the full program. If you decide to buy it, all you will get is a key to unlock the program so it will no longer expire. Install both programs and make sure AnyDVD shows a redfox in the tray. Then open Clone, choose your source disk and then choose what you want to keep, Clone will do the rest. This is a simple program to operate.

OK, i've done the anydvdripper with my movie,
now it's at the point of asking to close OR copy to DVD.

What do i do now, manual wasn't specific on HOW to use the clonedvd2.


What's the next step with the AnyDVD ripper, do i press copy dvd or open Clone2? I AM determined to get this right!

ok you have ripped the dvd to your HD with AnyDVD right?

1.close out AnyDVD
2.open CloneDVD 2
3.click "CopyDVD Titles" (if you just want the movie only) or click "Clone DVD" (if you want the complete disc backed up)
4.the next screen you will see on the top line "DVD video files"click the browse box to the far right find your movie file hightlight that then click ok . this will open the file into CloneDVD 2
5. then click next set your audio how you want it
6.click next hightlight the drive/burner you want to use and set your burn speen at 4x or 6x depending on what media you are using then click next again(at the bottom of the page and your off.

use the guide we posted also for help, it doesn't get any easier than this program you CAN'T mess it up !!!!

well got to the point on CLONEDVD2 to insert a recordable media. I have to use DVD+R with my computer.

put the blank in, keeps asking for recordable media. I've tried 2 or three different DVD+R and DVD+RW. Brand Memorex.

what's the problem?

The problem lies with the horrible media you are using!!! Get yourself some Taiyo Yudens , Verbatims or made in Japan Maxell or Sonys. All except TY are on sale various times and just as cheap as Memosucks.
