same here again, but really, what kind of forum cruiser looks at this and says "o, thats boring". even if they thought it was fake, they'd come and try to bring it down.
(+[__]%) put this psp in ur siggy. just do it.

He said it's disguised as a 3.40 update so it's going to say 3.40. He's trying to confuse the psp to think it's updating when it's downgrading. Don't tell me to try it cuz I'm not a 3.10/3.11 user lol

just devhook 3.10 and TRY to update with that thing and see if it allows you to do so then it's a success without needing to risk bricking

Hi everyone! i have been following this thread since the beginning of it. This thread has grown to be very interesting so i decided to join in on this convo. I got my psp as a gift about a month ago and has been doing a lot of research on the modding world of psp. Unfortunately I am also one of the victim that is still patiently waiting for the new downgrader to be created. I learned a lot from this forum and hoping to learn more and be very appreciated if i could get some help from all you pros after joining this forum.
by the way... I was wondering if anyone has a chance to try out the downgrade that scott made.
PSP Metalic Blue - 3.10 >> 3.50 to downgrade >> 1.50 >> 3.40 oe-a >> 3.52 m33 >> m.53 m33-3 >> 4.01 m33 >> 4.01 m33-2 >> 5.00 m33 >> 5.00 m33-3

haha. thanks guys. yes. i got mine as a gift and the firmware that came with was 3.10. I was pretty bummed out when i fount out that the latest downgrade is for 3.03. I guess i should be glad that i didn't update my firmware through sony and make it worst. =)

My friend stupidly upgraded to 3.50 the other day, and guess what...

wen i got my new psp, i ran it on 2.60 and it worked...
so, 3.50 is definetly a cheap attempt to fix this exploit. sony is spying on us. way to go!!!! :D

Dude, that's awesome! Well, in a sense. Because that means that it probably can be used towards a downgrader!
@mrmcman - yeah, they must've tried to cover it up that they know we found an exploit by using it for remote play, instead of just saying "security fix" or whatever they usually say. This is for sure a good thing.
Soon they are gonna be calling this the "CKhaleel Exploit" and you will be like a legend. I hope the noobz find a way to use this! Go CKhaleel!

that means sony realized we had a homebrew app that runs on 3.40, and they patched it. that pretty much validates ur exploit.
