I have a signal problem, how would I update the splitter? Its a brand new apartment and my signal is all broken up with a two month old 2007 box. The funny thing is, that the signal was fine for the first three weeks and it started glitching a bit about two weeks ago, to the point now where its glitching so badly its unwatchable. My signal is at 90% on most channels but drops to 88/89 when glitching. I'm in the heart of D4 with Anti hell.

    Any help out there?

All you have to do to update the EUROVOX MAX 2007 box to the new NTL codes is do a rescan. Connecting to computer is not necessary.
Go to user Install and do a quick scan in Chanel Manager (RED BUTTON)
    and HEY PRESTO!!
The EUROVOX MAX 2007 is an AUTO UPDATE box.

If an autoscan does not work check your connections to make sure they are good.

connections are good, as Anti Hell digi TV box works fine, not a glitch in sight. Getting a go of the new 2008 box tonight, hopefully that will work. But I'd be surprised.

Have you got the right frequencies and symbolrate?
Do a powerscan from 291-395Mhz with a symbolrate of 6887

There are some areas in IRELAND where eurovoxes are giving problems its not the box it will work fine anywhere else but in some areas cable providers have downgraded the signal. I sell boxes so i know many of my customers in dublin and some other areas of ireland are using eurvox 2006, which is working fine. they all had eurovox 2007 and it worked fine for some time but after once the providers downgraded the signal they wont work properly. I would say just try to get hold of GENUINE 2006 eurovox thats the only solution.

you are dead right unfortunately certain cable providers are down grading the signal in certain areas of Ireland and the only thing you can do is try get hold of a 2006 box as they work just fine, that's what i did and no longer have any signal problems..

Can they really be downgrading the signal, my tv is still fine and my 4mb broadband is still flying at full speed...........I'm sure there is something else going on!!

Going off the box, once the channels are found the signal goes up and down like a brides nightie.....but it can't be as its works fine as above...so must be something on the box imo

I can understand what you saying but remember you get TV, TELEPHONE, INTERNET on ONE SINGLE SAME Cable so its the game of frequency in this case. It works same way some people get 2mbps and next door neighbour has 8mbps broadband. so they limit the use according to the need of the customer or subscription level. So same goes with TV services and others as well. Ans yes they can downgrade the strength without effecting anything else.
