last night at 1.ooam my eurovox lost all channels including free to air im ex Cw and in east london anyone else got this problem
If you lost all everything, then it is most likely a problem with the CC, but first check the obvious - that your live cable feed has not come loose/adrift from your box and all connections, scart etc. are all okay.
yes all seems wel and i have reset the box to default but now i have absolutely nothing no frequencies no transponders to scan all a bit worrying really
i have just reloaded the firmware and config reads dvb-xc box stv 1.0 ssc4 april 21 2008 2.0s v001 but it is still giving me a no transponder to scan message whats going on ??
Okay, have you got Sub box to check the CC line, and judging by the firmware you have posted you have the Rd or Blue box?
if by ev display u mean the display on the front of the box it just says 0000 dont understand why its gone like this anyone else had this problem
Could have developed a hardware fault but first try a Factory default (after ensuring that all connections are tight and correct), Menu - Config - Clear Data OK - 0000 - 6952 ex C&W and re-do scan on that symbol rate, I realise you may have already tried, but try again for elimination purposes.
ok so i go factory reset and theres 2 rates in the factory reset 6952 and another 1 i cant remember, so i reset them both then up comes a screenfull power scan withstart 100 stop 875mhz symbol rate 6952 step 8the quality bar is fluctuating in red from 0 to 27%i press ok and it changes to the tp:000 screen and looks for channels quite a lot the channel quality bars go to 90 92 % asit steps up from 100mhz and progress up to 770 but i still seem to get nothing
hold on its starting to pick up something but its coming up 171mhz---6952 379mhz---6952 all like this and the transponders are increasing up to 29 now never seen this before
ok it seems to have found a huge amount of channels a lot of which are labeled bics i have switched to the normal programming and the updating code hgas come up it has now updated and the bics channels all seem to work dont know what they are but they work hahaha. well i now have 269 channels and i think the bcis are copys of other channels i will have to have a sort out of all these channels but i thank you very much for your assistance
Your welcome anytime, hope you are reasonably sorted anyhow, but you only need to scan on 1 symbol rate, after making sure you have (Cleared data).

Please drop the caps, we do not communicate like that it is generally know as shouting. As regards your problem it depends where you are - if you are in UK, then just do a full powerscan on 6.952 and if that fails do another Factory Default and use 6.887 for more guidance go to the link marked Eurovox under my post and read down okay.
