ive been burning regular 700mb movies to dvd's, first converting them using convertxtodvd which then , makes them around 1.5gb, but before that i was trying to use imgburn and just build the avi. file into an iso. then burn it to dvd, but that didnt work, so how can i burn avi. files around 700mb to cd-r without enlarging the file like what convertxtodvd does, i think ive heard alcohol 120 does that, but not sure??? thanks

This is a 700MB AVI file that you want to watch on a DivX compatible, standalone player?
Run Imgburn, 'Write files/folders to disk', select the file, set the burning speed, put a CD in the burner and click the green button.
