i have been using my ipod on my windows xp laptop but have now upgraded to mac but when i connect the ipod in itunes it wont let me update because the ipod is win format so how do i make it into mac format
Ok Theres a couple things you can do, First try to restore your ipod on itunes on the mac, this will reformat the ipod and reinstall everything, how ever make sure you have all your files on your Mac because you will loose everything on the ipod, then, if you can get the mac to recognize the ipod, set the ipod to restore mode by holding the menu+center until the ipod shuts off, then imediately press and hold play+center until you see a check on the ipod screen, once that happend your ipod is on recovery mode, just connect to mac with itunes running and hit restore.
