    Hi,

I'm thinking of buying a Zen 4GB with a 32GB SD card, I've been reading about the integration problems with SD cards and the internal memory so I'm thinking of using the 4gb for just video and the 32gb SD card for my music. I have a couple of questions.

    1) Can I still use ID3 tags on the SD card music to search via album\artist ect.

    2) Can I create playlists using the music on the SD card.

If there is anything you can think of that makes my idea a bad or stupid one then please shout up so I can look at alternative players instead!

Thanks for any help & sorry if I've double posted this my 1st post seemed to vanish somewhere?!?
    worto.

I have a creative Zen 4gb that I bought almost a year ago. You can not search the music on the sd card by artist or any other category, you can only scroll through a long list of track that you have on the root of the card or the tracks in a folder. The tag info will still be visible however no album artwork, and when you play a track from the sd card the tracks from the folder or root will be queued for play and you can not add music from other folders.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply, since posting my question I found out there are a lot of problems with the way creative players use the memory card so I'm getting a sandisk fuze instead.

    Thanks for the reply anyway,
    Worto.
