I am looking for a good program for cropping DIVX videos. I want to remove the black bars from the video. Any suggestions? I have tried TMPEGEnc, but it does not do what I want it to.
Drag the file onto Avidemux. 'Video' to XviD 'Audio' to Copy 'Format' to AVI Under 'Video', click 'Filters' => 'Crop' Adjust the values so they are divisible by two (even numbers), then 'OK' Click the 'Save' logo and give the output a new name including extension, E.G. newfile.avi http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/avidemux.cfm
I also recommend avidemux The only other thing I would add is to press the box that says configure and choose the "2-pass video size" to reencode. This always gives me the best quality when I have to crop an AVI.
Cool..thanks. Now, is this going to resize the video as well? I used virtualdub and then when I converted it it was wider and some of the sides were cut. Ok, I tried it, but now I can't convert it to dvd!!
