Hi. i have a samsung LE40R74BDX 40 inch LCD TV. had it about 18 months now and everything seemed to be fine. just recently over the last few days, when switching the set on, i have been experiencing a problem. It seems to want to switch on then clicks off again straight away, and does this constantly over a good few minutes before finally clicking on. Has anyone experienced this sort of thing and if so, is it easily fixed? The clicking noise is the same as when you put the set in standby mode. (the power down click) any help appreciated,., thnx
hi gmutt. im experiencing the same issue with my samsung tv of the same model when i click the on button either by remote or on the tv itself the light flashes and clicks in (what i reckon) is 1-2 second intervals and can continue from anything from 10seconds to a minute, which seems to be dependent on how long i have it switched off i would reckon mine is around 18 month to 2 years old also did you manage to find anything on the subject?
