I am in the market for a DVD recorder but I would like it to play my "homemade" DVDs made from avi files. The spec are: Disc Play DVD,DVD-R,DVD-RW,DVD-R DL,CD,CD-R,CDRW,VCD,CD-DA,SVCD,DVD+R DL,DVD+R,DVD+RW,WMA,MP3,JPEG,DivX
Disc Record DVD-R,DVD-RW,DVD+R,DVD+RW
Another quetsion would this player play DVD with ISO files
I am assuming that I can play any DVD that I burn but want to be sure

yeah.. so long as you know how to burn a standard dvd (or divx files if supported).. not just an iso burned as data.. they don't usually play those.

Free open source software = made by end users who want an application to work.
I would rather you hate me for who I am than love me for what I am not.
