I have read and read and read this and other forums religiously over the past couple weeks in regards to the xbox360. Thanks to afterdawn and its many intelligent users I have been able to succussfully make back ups of my games. Now I venture into news groups...... this is where I have lost it. I have found alt.binaries.games.xbox360, I have loaded 500,000 headers to view. Plain in simple what am I looking at? How do I determine if it is the data I am seeking? How do I get all the parts of a specific file if I have no idea what they are? And last, I don't think I understand the NBZ file business. Maybe someone can pm me and walk me through a single download of all the posts needed for a specific file. Sorry for so many questions and I will really appreciate all your help!!!!!!
Ok, the best thing to do is to get a program called "Newsleecher" install that, you can probably find a cracked one somewhere, then have a look at newzbin.com, that is a newsgroup search engine that allows you to search for a game, click on it to see if all the rar parts are there then download the nzb file to have newsleecher grab the whole game. I can see by what you posted that your news reader is not organized. That's where newsleecher comes in. Your game files would look something like this: Code: http://www.tweakers.net/ext/i.dsp/1126618606.png You can select all the parts and download them, or use an nzb file that will mark them all for you and proceed to download without you having to select them all manually and download 2 million headers.
