   I have ripped my dvd on to smart ripper and dvd decrypter but as soon as i want to switch over from dvd to hard drive to.........HARD DRIVE TO DVD it won't even let me use a dvd-r or dvd-rw it will only take cd-r which won't work on a dvd player
   what is the deal? what am i doing wrong?

   DVD Decrypter doesn't recognize your drive as a DVD writer. Have you installed ASPI layer on your machine? If not, go to our software area and download ForceASPI.
