Opera browser opens 40+ empty tabs when clicking on a picture link?

    Hey all,

    I rtfm, looked for Opera's own mail-support (it costs), did the Google search.
    Finally I came here, seen much good stuff about rigs and their software on afterdawn along the years.

    To the problem at hand: Seems I've managed to destroy some settings for my opera browser. When surfing for example digg.com, if I click a picture link, the browser slams open about 40-50 new tabs with the adddress, and they are all empty.

    If someone could help me out with this I'd be very thankful.

    Regards,

    I don't know what problem you got but what I would do is just uninstall Opera and then update to the newest version.

    I thought that would be my last resort, now it's done and didn't even help.
    Guess I'd need to delete the entire Opera folder and with it all wand, functions, rss feeds, bookmarks and such.

    But thanks for the suggestion anyway.

    I have gotten the same thing, without changing anything in the settings. It was working fine, then one day I clicked on to open a pic in a new browser, it did alright a few times, then just started opening up blank browser windows. Instead of clicking 'open pic in new browser', I just go ahead and download the pic and use my pic viewer to look at the picture.

    To whom it may concern;

    See , search for image file extension (jpg) and make sure action is Open with Opera.
