Hi, just a bought what i believe to be a Nokia dbox. I am used to flashing the Starview boxes and presumed this would be simlar but obviously i was wrong. It has an RS232 connection on the back but no ethernet connection and 3 scart connections, there is also no "LNB" port on the back of it and was sold to me as a "Cable" box and not "Sky", so i presume it's a cable box but i have my doubts. When i plug it in it just flashes initx1, initx2 and B2.10UnS and nothing else. How do i flash this box?, i have all the necessary cable for RS232 from my laptop but am stuck. Any help appreciated.
Best bet is to stick it back on ebay m8 as its a dbox1 you have bought and it takes alot of hard work to get this up and running. But if you still want to try have a search around,there is a thread on dbox1 somewhere on the forum.
I would like to get it up and running. I just need an idiots guide how to do it. I'm used to the Starview boxes, if anyone knows of a previous thread on the dbox1 that will help, please could you give me the link as i had a good look around this forum before i posted, but couldn't find anything.
