    i've got a bravia 40v4100. tech support tells me the tv supports 256 colors, does that mean my tv will support full range, via hdmi, say from ps3? i did that picture test, ya know (1234). on the ps3. but, i cant find any settings in the tv that change the black level when full range is on (ps3),its WAY to dark

    picture=standard (sometimes vivid)
    i dont tweak them until i know if my tv is capable of full range
    advanced=black level is on low, ad when set to high or off, no difference when ps3 full range is on

    from what i read those are the only things that will effect full range. or did you want a full list of settings?
