    Dear all,

I've been having issues with opening pdf files.
Whenever I want to download/open a pdf file, I'm prompted with this error message: Adobe Reader: AcroRd32.exe- Application Error "The instruction at"0x2214a7c3" refereces memory at "0x00000079". The memory could not be "read"

Click on OK to terminate the program.
Click on CANCEL to debug the program. "

So I tried to uninstall Adobe by going into Control panels/ add/remove. But the error messag" error applying transforms. Verify specified path is correct." pops up.

I'm at my wits end on what to do. Any suggestions?

As for my computer, it's a HP laptop running Windows XP Professional. ANy help would be appreciated. Thanks

Have you just tried installing it again? Odd error.. never seen adobe reader throw errors before unless there is an underlying fault.. like a ram error or the application has been moved without being reinstalled.
