I have been using utorrent for a while now. Recently I had the 1.7 version and was working fine until I removed a virus from my PC. Since then I have updated to 1.8 to try and solve my problem (problem is explained bellow) and nothing has changed. The problem is that I cannot get any downloads working. Just so you know! PC is completely free of viruses etc 100% Here are some messages I get on the utorrent window in the tracker section. Trackers [DHT] not allowed [Local peer discovery] not allowed [Peer Exchange] not allowed So far I am getting my max upload speed on utorrent which is set to 15kb/s although no downloads are happening. Any help is appreciated. Thanks to all those who help!
=S I'm sorry but i don't understand what you mean by DHT. However i could tell you this... I get my torrents from bitsoup.org who expect a ratio of 0.5 or above I've always had lower and downloads still work... I don't know why it's not downloading right now...
Private sites don't allow DHT, public do. Try the above in utorrent and disable both DHT check boxes. Bitsoup is private as far as I know.
Thanks for the information and help, but I think I just figured it out =S I have AVG installed and when disableing it my downloads were working and at somthng around 100kb/s. Thanks again help is much aprecieated =D
